PROF-CUT and UNI-CUT band-saw blades for metal cutting

In order to meet the ever growing expectations of our clients, we have expanded our offer of metalworking tools with bimetal band-saw blades. Our offer of band-saw blades includes the METAL PROF-CUT series for professional use (in industrial production lines) and the METAL UNI-CUT series for universal use.

METAL PROF-CUT series saw blades are used in cutting various types of materials, from aluminium to stainless steel. Tooth tips are made from high-speed steel with an 8% cobalt content. Depending on the use (solid material, pipes, sections) we offer various teeth forms, which guarantee the high quality of the processed material. For example, PC-S toothing is used for cutting thin-walled pipes and sections made from most materials, and PC-L toothing is used for cutting medium and large elements – cutting susceptible to vibrations.

METAL UNI-CUT series saw blades are universal use blades. The toothing used makes it possible to cut through a wide range of materials of various shapes using only one saw. The teeth are designed to be damage-resistant. The bearing part is made from wear-resistant material, and the tooth tips are made from high-speed steel with an 8% cobalt content. These saw blades are recommended for cutting metal in small-sized metal shops or craftsman’s workshops where it is necessary to frequently change the material of various shapes.

This group of products includes straight cutters (single plate, double plate) with
a soldiered HM plate as well as more technologically advanced cutters – formed cutters with interchangeable HM plates.

New series of shank cutters

Since autumn, our offer has included a new series of cutters for hand-held top spindle milling machines. The new series can be divided into two subgroups, shank cutters with interchangeable HM plates and shank cutters with soldiered HM plates. Cutters with interchangeable HM plates, often used by professionals, are particularly worth mentioning. In addition to the above tools, we also offer accessories (bearings, screws, key), which can be useful for all buyers.

The new series of shank cutters are tools:
  • manufactured according to the newest technologies
  • with the highest quality
  • with a new design
By creating the new offer of cutters, we wish to present a product of the highest quality to our clients, at an affordable price, which can be used in specialized production processes and in plain tinkering.

New series: MARATHON ANTI STICK saw blades

The GLOTECH MARATHON and GLOTECH MARATHON ANTI STICK series are saw blades with a longer life, designed for cutting wood-based materials.

Thanks to the materials used, their lifespan is increased by about 20% in comparison to regular saw blades. Moreover, the use of a special fluoropolymer coating in the MARATHON ANTI STICK series decreases the effect of friction and prevents elements from sticking to the disc, which additionally increases the lifespan of the tool by about 30%.

New series of carbide HM circular saw blades SET1 – for power tools

The new series of circular saw blades is a supplementation of our offer of GLOBUS brand tools in this product area. A specially profiled plate and reinforced construction of the tooth result in the uniform work of the tool while cutting wood. Moreover, the SET1 series consists of saw blades with a small kerf and lower cutting resistance, which causes the disc to be less likely to be overloaded.

These saw blades will satisfy do-it-yourselfers as well as professionals who count on the high quality, precision and long lifespan of the tool.

New series of bimetal hand-held hacksaw blades FLEXER

Aiming to fulfil the growing needs of our clients, we have expanded the assortment of blades by additional tooth spacing of 18 and 32 teeth/inch. Also, we have introduced a new system of packaging. Besides the already possessed cardboard packages of 144 pieces of 24-teeth blades, new assortments are packaged in blisters of 10 pieces each. We also offer the following MIX sets packaged in blisters: 18-24 teeth, 18-32 teeth, and 24-32 teeth. A package containing a single 24-teeth blade has been created especially for retail sales needs.

New series of HM carbide circular saw blades Multix DIABLO with an anti-adhesive coating.

Recognizing the possibilities brought by the use of fluoropolymer coatings, we have introduced a new version of Multix type saw blades, named DIABLO for their characteristic carbon coating colour. From a wide range of fluoropolymers, a coating designed especially for saw blades was selected. The manufacturer of the coatings is an unquestionable leader in the industry, which gives us the assurance of the very high and repeatable quality of the coated tools.

When summarizing the positive aspects of fluoropolymer coatings, information about which can be easily found in industry publications or on the Internet, we should mention:
  • the minimal friction coefficient, eliminating the effect of friction vibrations and overheating of the side surface of the blade,
  • prevention of resin and wood sticking to the saw disc, especially on disc surfaces behind the teeth,
  • high resistance of the tool to high temperatures occurring during the cutting process.

We have changed the HM plate construction geometry in trim saw blades

For a period of time, we have been testing the effect of the HM plate geometry on the quality of cut surfaces in wood-based materials.
Over 10,000 cuts have been made using the new plate geometry. Tests were performed in several companies in Poland. The effects have exceeded our expectations. The new geometry used in conical trim saws (1GR8) and compound trim saws (GS12) has had an enormous impact on increasing the lifespan of saw blades.

We have introduced polycrystalline diamond DIA tools into our offer

Taking into consideration the growing needs of our customers, where tool lifespan is a crucial element, as well as decreasing retooling time, which results
in decreasing production costs, we now offer polycrystalline diamond tools (PCD), which are being used in the most technologically advanced machining processes.

Depending on the type, the offered PCD tools possess diamonds in the following sizes: 2.7 (ECO), 4, and 4.5 mm.

The latest generation of PCD products includes:
  • straight shank cutters, single blade PCD milling cutters that are well known on the market,
  • formed shank cutters,
  • profile cutters,
  • through-hole, non-through and Forstner drill bits,
  • single and multi-part edge bander heads,
  • formatting heads,
  • diamond saw blades for panel cutter machines with an automatic feed,
  • diamond saw blades for table panel saws and conical trim saws.

Special milling cutters are characterized by their advanced construction, especially the following types: Top 2+2, Top 3 Turbo, and Top 4 Turbo.
The additional “W” marking indicates the milling cutters mentioned above with an axial removal of shavings. Their shape significantly improves the removal of shavings as well as fast cooling, when high temperatures are often reached during work. Inner channels in the core work as a turbine directly in front of the cutting blade, sucking up shavings through the inside of the cutters. The solution eliminates the problem of the fast removal of a large number of shavings in the case of a high rate of feed. This is similar to vertical drilling, which can be noticed especially when working with laminated boards. “W” series milling cutters can handle drilling into boards much better than regular eco series PCD tools. These milling cutters are not only efficient, but they also increase the production capabilities through the faster feed of even 20% in comparison to other similar solutions.
