Tools are just the start. Knowledge is what matters most.

The MARECKI Wholesale Centre Open Days in Katowice, which took place on 18 June 2026, are now behind us. For the GLOBUS brand, this was yet another opportunity to meet face-to-face with those who work every day in furniture production, fitted furniture assembly and the processing of wood-based materials. Our team, comprising Piotr Szarek and Piotr Tysnarzewski, presented a wide range of professional tools designed for modern production processes – from HM circular saw blades and scoring saws, through CNC cutters, to router heads, system blades and specialist machine drill bits.

However, the main focus of our discussions was not the products themselves. We discussed:
•    how to minimise laminate chipping during panel formatting, 
•    how to select the appropriate saw geometry for the type of material, 
•    when it is worth using DIA tools instead of traditional carbide solutions, 
•    how to increase tool life through correct operating parameters, 
•    how to reduce production costs through the appropriate selection of tools.  




The products on display included, amongst others, the LL CUT series of saws, HM conical scoring cutters, MITER, ZAG and AKU saws, DIA cutters for CNC machines, 45° jointing heads, CENTROLOCK®, VARIPLAN and BULLDOZER blades, as well as professional HM PLUS drill bits and GOLD cup drill bits.

The greatest value of such events lies in direct contact with users. It is during conversations at the stand that ideas for new solutions and modifications to existing products are born. Such events remind us that behind every machine there are people and their experience. It is precisely this exchange of knowledge between the tool manufacturer and users that enables us to achieve better production results and avoid costly downtime.
