Anniversary Polish Joinery Congress

There are events that leave a lasting mark on a company’s history. For us, the 16th Polish Joinery Congress, which took place on 14 May 2026 in Jachranka near Warsaw, was just such a moment.

During the largest and most prestigious gathering of the Polish building joinery sector, organised by the Polish Windows and Doors Association (POiD), the GLOBUS brand had the honour of receiving no fewer than two exceptional awards. The Congress brought together over 300 market leaders, experts and representatives of companies shaping the Polish building joinery industry.

Our company was represented by Janusz Ziemba, Chairman of the Management Board, and Izabela Kozak, Sales Director. The POiD Association’s 30th-anniversary gala was of particular significance to us. It was during this event that the ‘WAPIENICA’ Saw and Tool Factory was awarded the POiD Association’s 30th-Anniversary Eagle for its long-standing cooperation and commitment to the development of the Polish building joinery industry. The second award held a deeply symbolic significance for us. To mark the 105th anniversary of the GLOBUS brand, celebrated this year, we received a special award in recognition of our contribution to the development of the industry and our active support for the activities carried out by the POiD Association.




For a company whose history began in 1921, such accolades are of exceptional value. They are proof that the consistency, quality, partnership and commitment built up over generations by GLOBUS employees are recognised throughout the industry.

For over a century, we have been manufacturing tools for the timber, furniture and joinery industries. Today, as we receive these awards, we look back on our history with pride, but above all, we look to the future with optimism.

We would like to thank the POiD Association for this honour, as well as all our customers, business partners and employees who have been helping to shape the history of the GLOBUS brand for 105 years.
