GLOBUS in Belgrade

2025-11-05
From 8 to 12 October 2025, the eyes of the European furniture and woodworking industry were on Belgrade. For the 61st time, the Serbian capital hosted the INTERNATIONAL FAIR OF FURNITURE, EQUIPMENT AND INTERIOR DECORATION, one of the most important and prestigious industry events in South-Eastern Europe. Crucially for specialists, the furniture fair was traditionally accompanied by the International Fair of Machines and Tools for the Woodworking Industry. On this comprehensive platform, focused on design, innovation and strengthening business contacts, the Polish brand GLOBUS® – a manufacturer of cutting tools with over 104 years of tradition – successfully presented its offer. The presence of the Polish giant, organised as part of the exhibition space of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), was a clear signal of strategic involvement in the dynamically developing market of the Western Balkans.

Precision and Efficiency: GLOBUS tools for modern furniture manufacturing

The GLOBUS® stand, represented by Anna Król and Łukasz Trznadel, became a place for exchanging experiences, focusing on solutions that meet the needs of modern furniture manufacturing plants and CNC machining centres in the region.
The focus was on tools that guarantee the highest edge quality and process optimisation, which is crucial in an era of increasing quality requirements and shorter production cycles.

The trade fair in Belgrade, a strategic meeting place for the machining, design and standardisation sector (as confirmed by the presence of the Serbian Institute for Standardisation), clearly confirmed that the South-Eastern European market is intensively seeking advanced and efficient Polish cutting technology. Participation in the event, especially in the prestigious PAIH zone, allowed the GLOBUS® brand to strengthen business relations and gain in-depth knowledge of the specific needs of local manufacturers. The positive reception of the offer – from innovative circular saw blades to advanced PCD/DIA cutters for CNC – allows us to be optimistic about the development of the GLOBUS® brand in this culturally close market.

We would like to thank all the fair participants who visited our stand. See you at the next industry events!
