Solid-carbide ball-shaped router bits
2017-02-24Recently we have introduced to our offer a range of solid-carbide ball-shaped router bits (LS230 index) where body and working part is completely made of high-quality sintered carbide.
Ball-shaped router bits are tools used for profile milling in three dimensions, e.g. sculpted profiles and reliefs.
The offer includes working diameters from 3 to 20 mm and rounding radii from R=1.5 to R=10mm. They are particularly recommended for processing of the following materials: solid hardwood, plywood, furniture boards, including MDF, HDF, LDF and raw chipboard.
To increase durability of the tools during processing of materials with uniform and dense microstructure of highly compressed micro-shavings with high content of industrial adhesives or processing of hard wood of Africa origin, it is possible to cover working part of the bit with refining coatings - e.g. diamond. Another possible solutions to increase performance of the tool during processing of the above mentioned materials is to execute a body based on the sintered carbide with increase strength and impact resistance characterizing the ULTRA NANO GRAIN.
